To celebrate the Afcon finals, Converse hosted a live viewing event with a takeover of The Africa Center. Converse will be doing a full takover of the Africa Center with activations on each floor, including a panel, games as well as T shirt customisation.
The event delivered a highly successful day of programming, with engaging activities activated across all four floors. Guests were able to create their own custom Clint’s x Converse T-shirts, receive Moroccan henna designs, attend a meaningful fireside chat, connect through traditional African games, and archive themselves at the BLKINTHEday booth, ensuring there was something for everyone throughout the experience.
The day culminated in the primary moment: the finals screening, which became a shared peak experience for all attendees. Food and beverages were served seamlessly from day into night by partners Chaps, Mirchi, Little Baobab, and Nando’s, supporting sustained engagement through the evening.
